 As you are probably aware, websites vary in size, from 1 page through to hundreds of pages. The bigger the website, the longer it will take to construct. Also, it will take longer to implement animations, members areas, shopping carts, etc.

 The cost is reliant on the size of the website and it's content. All websites are quoted individually as every website is different in it's own way.

 Do you set a timescale for when the website will go live on the internet?

 Yes. A date can be agreed for the website to go live. If you have further requirements to your website after the initial agreed build type and content will result in a longer timescale before the website is launched. You are also free to delay the launch date at any time.

 All websites can consist of text content(any colour, any font), background(any colour), images, company logo, animations, contact forms(more than 1 can be used),shopping carts, members areas, links, and more!

 Will you keep me informed as to how the build is going?

 Yes. You can view it yourself by accessing a dummy site where the website will be constructed piece by piece. This way you can advise of any modifications/changes that you would like to make.

 Why do I need a "Control Panel"?

 Every website Hosted with Chicane Design Ltd automatically has a Control Panel FREE of charge. This enables you to access and manage your email accounts, passwords and visitor statistics with us. It is an easy to use bit of kit and you will be taught how to use it before your website goes live! No one else can access your Control Panel unless you give them your username and passwords! So please keep them in a safe place!!

 Can you help me choose a Domain Name?

 Yes. A search can be performed for you to produce a list of names available that will suit your website, company name and business activities. You can also choose how long you would like to keep the domain name for(1 to 10 years).

 Can I transfer my Domain Name and existing website to you?

 Yes. All websites transferred to Chicane Design Ltd will be initiated as soon as they are received in order to reduce your websites downtime. Hosting facilities implemented, emails reset and website launched. You are also able to transfer/purchase your Domain Name(s) on it's own with Chicane Design Ltd in order to secure the name(s) or just to keep it safe until you are ready to launch/build a website.

 How long will it take to transfer to you?

 Timescales vary depending on how long it takes for your current provider to release your Domain name and/or website.

 How many email addresses can I have?
A
 That is dependant on the hosting package you purchase. For example - Platinum Package has unlimited email addresses.

 How long does it take to sort out the Hosting package?

 It can be done within 24 hours maximum.

 If my website grows in size, will I have to pay more for my Hosting package?

 Yes. It will depend on how large the website has become as to how much the Hosting fees will increase.

 Yes. You are able to divert your emails to anywhere you like.

 Do I have to have a new logo with my new website?

 No. You can use your existing logo.

 Is there a restriction as to how many links I can have on my website?

 No. You can have as many links as you like! It is my job to make them look nice and fit into the website and not look untidy either horizontally, vertically, or otherwise. You can also have multiple links on your site to other companies and associations by text, format or image links.

 Can I have a map on my website, so that people can find my business premises?

 Yes. You can either have a static map or an interactive map linked to Google, Multimap, Routefinder, etc.

 Can I have forms and information on PDF format so that people can download them easier?

 Yes. You are free to advise of any literature that you would like in PDF. If you send them into Chicane they can be converted into PDF format for you if not already done.
